… be yelling at you. I should be trying to appeal to you, telling you something you’ll want to hear. Like that Squid Game reaches its emotional climax in Episode 6, which explores the themes of capitalism pitting people against each other as deeply as the show will ever do, and after that, it’s mostly treading water, and there’s a weird homophobic riff, and a “shocking” twist that isn’t, and you start to realize that you’re just watching The Hunger Games for middle-aged dudes.
