I read the piece you shared in your comment. In recent decades the LGBTQ community is reclaiming queer to take the power away from those who use it to degrade us. I understand it's hard to adjust to the reclaiming of a slur. Personally, the term genderqueer is the best descriptor for my own identity I've ever found.

To say you are transmisic is an open admission you are prejudiced against trans people and acitvely discriminating against them. We know being gay isn't a choice, so why do you believe being trans is? Just because you were sexuallly attracted to a few trans people doesn't mean you're not prejudiced, as you clearly are.

This isn't a competition or a hijacking. Equal rights for others doesn't mean fewer rights for you, it's not pieces of a pie. I'm sorry you feel that my post was rude - I found yours hateful and discriminatory. I'm sorry you're unable to support progress and equality, despite how it would benefit you as well.
