The older I get, the more I am realizing how important it is that we chase those little dreams we have been carrying since childhood.
I have heard it over and over again from people decades older than me — true happiness is just doing what you wanted to do when you were a kid.
Happiness is the guy who worked toward their pilot license after dreaming about flying and loving planes when he was a child.
Happiness is the kid who loved animals pursuing a career in zoology and researching primate behavior as an adult.
Happiness is the person who just wanted independence and globetrotting as a child and now runs their own business while moving from country to country.
Here’s the thing —
People assume that childhood dreams should either be handed to us, or we don’t deserve them.
But fulfilling those wishes we have carried deep inside our hearts requires commitment and hard work and even sacrifices.
