Ash, this is an amazing post. It is so authentic and well-intentioned. It is truly tiring how many Medium articles are about how writers made money off their readers, and so much of it lacks substance and is really just success porn. Heck, I've been guilty of writing income articles myself. Thank you for this beautiful reminder of why we write and the human touch our writing needs.
